Avalon
In my artwork I recreate spaces that I have travelled, capturing the sensation of spaces I’ve passed through, where my memories are full of vivid colour and light instead of the physical form of the places I’ve been.
In ‘Avalon’ my brushstrokes trace my movements and I can once again see the vibrant colour flooding across the horizon where the sky and sea become one, melting together creating different shades of red, yellow, and pink as the sun setting creates golden flickers amongst the waves.
